I just finished recording the "Memories of Aquaria Medley" this morning.

So now I can make sure everything is good and nicely packaged and I can set up a download for the whole re-recorded album.

World Map
Thanks to some great scripting work by Edwards Sacrifice finally has  an in game world map. Don't worry about the slow scrolling speed in the video; it's twice as fast in game.

Oh man, that's what I've been waiting for.  I started the mod, and I just couldn't continue without a world map--I got way, way too lost too easily.
I am looking forward to that

Not sure if it was an inspiration, but I know Edmund loves depict1.

Does he have any other fun games, whether super similar to this or totally different? I'd be interested to try some others and/or donate if he has an ongoing larger project or something

Since the game is freeware made for the Global Game Jam, I don't imagine there would be any problem with putting the song up for download. I'm sure Alec will be happy to

Also, the game is FANTASTIC, and the music fits wonderfully (and probably lends a lot to) the atmosphere. It sounds great on its own too, but.... I recommend you let your first experience with the music be the first time you play the game, because the combo gives both pieces more depth. 

Just finished the game, and yo uwere totally right It WAY reminded me of "Time Kufc", though ( see: http://www.kongregate.com/games/Edmund/time-kufc ). Any idea if it was inspiration for this or associated in any way?

Awesome Here's hoping he puts it up, and I will make sure to play the game (its sitting on my desktop from earlier!) before listening.

Also, Alec, any updates on the vocal-less "Fear The Dark" and/or "Lost to the waves" you'd told me you were going to work on?

I support this idea wholeheartedly. There could been be a little CD thingy in the back like with audiobooks with some tracks  to set the mood and such. That or (and this is a long shot) making an actual audiobook out of it, with Jenna reading That would be super awesome, methinks.

I know this is an odd/random place to put this, but I don't know if you check tweets often from those you are not following you. I also didn't think a new thread really needed making. I refer, of course, to the following:

I don't know if hif you have the right to put it up for download, but if you don't, perhaps you could ask them. I like to get my hands on anything you do music-wise, as I love your, well, music (hard to tell, right? :p). If indeed you can't put it out legally, and they don't want to for free, I'd be glad to pay a price And, also I'd be glad to host it if needed.

to be quite honest, i haven't even heard the music yet, as I haven't been to my PC, but I have no doubt it's great :v You should really write up a list of all the games (or otherwise) you've done music for -- that'd be awesome. Then, you could sell a compilation of all of them perhaps

Man, those piano arrangements are really awesome. I hope he does more, and even moreso I hope he releases downloads.

 In the mean time, I have ripped them off youtube. It was obviously transcoded, so there's some quality loss, but its way better than nothing. Would any of you like them so you can listen at your leisure?
