General / Re: Aquaria to be in Humble Bundle again?

Alec: If this is true, will this contain the version that is shipped with plimus (1.1.1), current icculus repo (1.1.3), or be based on andrew's iPad code (1.2.0) ?

Well, I know now.

Version 1.13.

General / Aquaria to be in Humble Bundle again?

Is there any truth to the speculation that those who pay more than the average price for the next Humble Bundle will get Aquaria?

General / I suggest releasing the Linux version on Desura.
« on: October 16, 2011, 08:49:37 pm »
It's very disappointing to see that the Linux version was never commercially released (except as part of the the limited-edition Humble Bundle promotion).

Now that Desura is out for Linux, why not start selling the Linux version on Desura?

General / Re: Aquaria Linux Binaries
« on: September 01, 2010, 01:30:06 am »
Since Aquaria is now open source, the best way to get Linux binaries is to build them. This is probably why Linux binaries were never released, apart from the ones included in the Humble Bundle.

Your mirrored binaries will come in handy if the build fails.

That is the greatest news ever! THANK YOU Alec, Ryan Gordon, Indie Bundle buyers, and everyone else who made this possible.

The "interactive fiction" (text-based) game Worlds Apart also has you playing as an aquatic humanoid with mother issues. It has a similar ending too: you find your mother.

What are the plans for maintaining the Linux version once it's done? If version 1.1.3 of Aquaria gets released, will bringing the improvements to the Linux version be done in-house, or will Ryan have to come in again?

General / Aquaria bundle on Direct2Drive
« on: November 12, 2009, 05:57:23 pm »
Direct2Drive just started offering Aquaria as part of a bundle:

Quote
The Best of Indie: Volume 2 includes Crayon Physics Deluxe, [Aquaria, Aaaaaa!, I-Fluid, And Yet it Moves, Project Aftermath, and Acceleration of Suguri. All told, these seven games go for $94.65 purchased separately, but until November 16 you can get them all for $25. And DRM-free, to boot.

Oh, it's the same map. In that case, I second the recommendation of the Treasure Hunters' Map!  :D
