Support / demo only works with 0,5fps

hello

i was searching the net for a new nice game and found aquaria
ich downloaded the demo and tried to play it
no way...the framerate is extreme low 0,5fps i think

cpu: amd 4400 2x2.2ghz
ram: 2gb
gfx: ati radeon hd3850 agp 512mb + latest drivers
sys: winxp sp2
hdd: ca 750gb
sound: sb audigy2

any solutions???

(sorry for my bad english. i´m german)
