It screws up on Linux because the game thinks I have one large screen instead of one 1080p and one laptop screen.

I've run into the same issue - you must have a nVidia card, then? I'm not sure if ATI does the same thing...

Another reason not to use Linux: Aquaria has an ugly icon. Oh noes! Linux users probably are geeky enough to know how to swap it with the mac icon though. Either that or they wouldn't care. :3

My version of Linux doesn't have any icons in the menus, so I didn't realize there was an icon at all. But, as you said, I imagine it would be pretty easy to swap the images.

I had a ton of trouble with this boss as well, which tends to send me searching through my inventory for interesting things to eat.

There's one item that stood out, and made quick work of the Jellyfish King once I figured out what it did; Spicy Soup, that gives you the mysterious ability of "Beast Shot".

On a hunch, I tried it out, and blam - beast shot gives you a sort of energy shot while you're in beast form! Best of both worlds, and it makes it possible to stay in beast form without any clumsy switches.
