That is gorgeous. I particularly like the picture of the shallows. Not only does it have a real sense of depth of field, but the contrast is lovely. Needs a random monkey though, IMO. Quite an ambitious mod, I look forward to seeing it develop.

I got the door open. I had the song right, I just hadn't gotten the ghost child to follow me to the door.

Thanks for the help on that boss, I thought that was what I was supposed to do, but it seemed too difficult. He's not paralysed for long enough for that to really work effectively... but I'm sure I'll do it eventually. Anyway, I completed it a few hours ago so expect a ridiculously long review forthwith containing many unnecessary italics.

I watched about 2 minutes in... it's okay. I've seen better ones. Honestly, I don't know why people do things like this. It just eludes me. Hundreds and hundreds of people have made game montages and barely anyone makes it unique. And if I wanted to watch video clips from game, well I would just go and play the games. Still, the video was well edited, and some of the choices were awesome. Glad that Beyond Good and Evil made the list .

Sorry for the double post but I'm stuck again. I've got sunform, everything else is as it was before, but now I can't seem to kill the boss in the Bubble Cave, y'know in the Frozen Veil. I'm assuming that he'll be the last pet. I worked out that I have to knock him off the ceiling and into the bubble using nature form, but then I'm stuck. I'm guessing that I'll need another form, an ice or electricity form or something. If not, please let me know.

And like I said, I'm still not sure what to do about this puzzle in the sunken city. I've reached the door with the Verse Song, and I can't seem to get any further. I suppose I'll have a little look around in the abyss for now.

Edit: NEVERMIND. I worked it out.

I got quite a few of them. Obviously I can't tell whether I got them all, but I got a nice loot from down there. This is actually one of the brilliant facets of the games design, the fact that I can explore the area if I want to. But then again, I detest the big mouths. They're like Aquaria's Grue, and they're not very well made either. But now I'm starting to review it because god-damnit I just can't help myself.

Just one question - when I first learn the verse song, am I supposed to use it immediately, on the door it's in front of? Because if so, it's not working. I'm getting very confused. Again, you don't have to tell me what to do, just "am I'm doing it wrong?"

I just found my way to the Ice Temple without it anyway. I can make ice creams now . Still, I'll go back and have another look. Thanks

Hey. I got Aquaria a couple of days ago. I'm about 28 - 30 hours in it's going well, but I'll save my opinion for later - I plan to do a full review once I've completed it. I've got energy, beast, spirit, fish and nature forms and I've also found Li. I've wondered blindly around the abyss for a bit, I've had a look at the Sun temple in The Veil, and I'm prevented from advancing by the dark area near the bottom. I've killed both the energy boss and the Trogdor boss in Mithalas, as well as the nature boss, the three priests, the giant enemy crab, the giant enemy mollusc in Home Waters and the Pirahna boss.

I've been to all the places on this map, and pretty much explored everywhere. The only place I know I haven't visited is the lowest straight in the left-hand abyss cavern, and I don't expect I'm supposed to go there until I get a light of some kind. So far I've been using song to call light sources too me, but it almost always ends up in them either being eaten by the random mouths down there and I'm stranded with no map and no light, relying on my logic and questionable sense of direction to get me out alive. It's oddly fun though...

Ultimately, I'm now stuck. I can't see anywhere else on the map I'm missing, and lacking a walkthrough, I don't really have many other options. Please, by all means ask me questions if it'll help you help me, but please try and refrain from spoilers. I'm really getting into this and I'd like the experience to be preserved for now .
