I played Wesnoth for a while, it was kinda cool at first but for a game that size it was pretty dull... still, for a downloadable game it lasted a good month or so.

Really liked the mods though, theres so many its mind boggling... Ive tried about every single one. My favorite was Rumble.

With all these rogue-likes, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Nethack. In my opinion, it's the best rogue-like!

Why? I don't know, maybe because I haven't tried any other

Oh yeah, and I suggest setting it on 32x32 tiles, I can't stand the 16x16 ones.

Edit: After posting that, I've been playing it for 5 days straight (ouch)
