Title: Stuck in Sunken city "spoiler"

In the sunken city I have led the ghost boy to the door, but cannot open the door despite singing the notes shown in the room. Is there a pre requisite to opening this door BEFORE singing the song? Whats the order?

Plus, how do I activate the DUAL FORM?

HINT:

You don't play the notes in order per se.

Somebody else in that area is signing a melody over and over again...

My speakers are not working. Please tell us what the melody is.

I've also taken the ghost boy till the door, but I donno what to do next.

YOUR WHATS AREN'T WORKING!?  And you're still playing like that!  GET THEM FIXED AND PLAY THE WHOLE GAME AGAIN!

But if you insist on continuing, you play them in 3 sets of 4 notes, the first 3 that are listed horizontally followed by the first one listed vertically, then repeat the 3 horiz. ones followed by the 2nd listed vertically...and so on.  Sorry if that's confusing.

Haha yeah, I don't understand how someone could play Aquaria without sound.

I had figured out the 3 groups of 4 notes by going back to the woman and listening to the notes being played for awhile but going back to the door and playing them does not open the door.   I tried playing the notes to the boy and the girl also without any luck.  Is there a prerequisite item I need to have?  Must I have killed a different boss monster prior to getting to this door (I skipped the Jellyfish monster,  I kept dieing too many times without success).  I haven't gotten the boy all the way to the door, he stopped back in the larger chamber.  I'm stumped on this one.

if you consider the lowest note to be 0 and the highest to be 7 i think the order is

1 3 4 5 1 3 4 2 1 3 4 0

you have to sing it by the boy when he's near the last door.

it should be a kinda familiar melody :)

I definitely have the right note sequence, now I just need to figure out how to lure the boy all the way to the door.  He stopped back at the dead tree and is lying at the bottom.  It looks like he's crying to me.   I can't bind to him or anything so I guess I'll need to find another song to play to him to get him to follow me all the way to the door.   If I can't do that them I'm SOL.  Sigh !!!!!!!!!

I figured it out.  I finally have a good use for the flowers in Nature form.   Excellent puzzle.
