sorry Xiagan, didn't quite undersand that. when you repeated yourself did you mean the forum was a good resource for a walkthrough?

*wonders how many times he can get Xiagan to requote himself *  ::)

Not another time, sorry. ;)
I was typing an answer for xpsunny and then was realising that it'll turn out like the one I posted above. ;)

I'm thinking myself of writing a complete walkthrough... but I have no experience in it. So that kind of sucks.

I'm going to try anyway.

Well I don' think a full walkthrough is necessarily the best thing for this.  Has anybody here ever played any of the old LucasArts adventure games like Day of the Tentacle or Sam & Max?  Well I used to have guides for those that were in HTML format and they had a "hint" system.  They would give you a hint, then upon further prodding and link-clicking then the next "hint" in the sequence would show up on the page and it kept going like that if you wanted the full answer.  I think that kind of system is PERFECT for Aquaria.  Let me see if I can find a link to that guide and I'll post it.

here's an example of Invisclues for Zork, sounds like it's on the same lines of Sam & Max. I could see that working great for Aquaria, it already sort of happens here... vague allusions to teeny spoilers to blatant just do this ;)

No, I'm just talking about a full walkthrough with every bit of information there is to get, from storyline, to forms, to treasures and recipes to characters and etc...

I'm aware of what you meant.  But that doesn't diminish what I was trying to say and I quote:
Well I don' think a full walkthrough is necessarily the best thing for this.

Well as soon as you find the link to that other walkthrough I'd be glad to look at that and maybe even make 2 versions.

Hi. First post and all that, so of course I'm going to do a bit of thread necromancy with this old thing. Here's a commercial application of the sort of guide that Glamador is talking about.

Don't forget Momruoy's  maps, with all treasures and their locations, etc., and the world map. That's as good as a walkthrough in my opinion. There's a link on here somewhere, isn't there?

I found the link for Momruoy's maps on this thread (http://www.bit-blot.com/forum/index.php?topic=972.msg12548#) but the link is broken. Anyone have those maps somewhere else?

I uploaded it for ya... though on the most bogus site.

Linky (http://www.filefactory.com/file/b001ge7/n/aquaria_maps.pdf)

I'm hating that one site after another that I use is disappearing.

^Hey, no biggie, I got the file. Thanks so much for the upload. I appreciate it. I'm still playing for the first time and I'm not going to use the maps for spoilers...I just want to check to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Good man!  Spoilers are your enemy!  Don't worry about missing things though, as you can go back and get things any time before you enter the final boss room.
