Title: Very Newbie Needs Help!

Hi
This is probably a totally dumb question but I can't seem to find how to get my energy form?  I'm in Home Waters and all my mini-map is now white (apart from beyond the pearl doors).  I've put the missing pearl in the head but the door won't open, and I can't fight in the Energy temple (I think?) because I don't have energy form....

Am I missing something or do I get energy form when I go into the temple.  The bit I die in is when the different colour lights keep firing missiles at me.

Please help - it's driving me mad as I want to play the game but very frustrated now with it.

Are you sure you haven't visited other maps as well?

Hi

Yes, have done Song Cave and got the shield and Bind songs and have found the turtle and the nasty spinning thing that spits its babies at you (is the a nautilus?).   

I'm sure I'm missing something really obvious but have got to the point that playing just makes me more frustrated!

By "the nasty thing" you mean the big Nautilus? Then yes, you're on the right path. Keep in mind it took me about 30-45 minutes to kill the son of a .. fish .. with just the bind song. I didn't have energy form at that time :|

Come to think about it, even if you get the energy form, the difficulty is still the same - you need to hit Nautilus in a certain spot to damage it..

Actually, if you drag the rock THROUGH hi... her, you also damage her.
But naw, I just looked further seeing I didn't want to die or do impossible stuff.

Huh? S/he won't get further if s/he kills the Nautilus....

You have to enter the temple in the upper left area of home waters. There is a room with a big statue and it starts fireing on you. If I reacall right, there occur some notes. Play them and try to stay alive and something will happen. :)

Oh, yeah, sorry, didn't read previous posts.

You have to indeed go to that spot where that statue fires at you and stuff, then at a moment you see and hear a note that you also have to play.
Further, keep evading the things it fires.

Also the NAUTILUS is a SHE and I dunno what gender the poster is. =p Prolly male anyway, cause of majority, not cause of h*ll I know what else.
