1: The Frozen Veil is optional, but there's a tough boss with a Health Upgrade in it.
Climbing walls is tricky, but done by 'grabbing' on to a wall by jumping at it, then immediatly jumping off again to a higher point. It's tricky, but there's various food items that make it a bit easier (Swim faster = Jump Higher)
2: The Giant Whale needs to be sung to in order to do anything with. You'll need to find a whale song in order to do this ( There's a Map of the Game somewhere on this forum with the location...)
3: The Purple thing guards the entrance to the final location of the game, while the Strange Symbol Door is the entrance to the 2nd last location in the game. If you've already been everywhere else, you might want to try and find some help opening the door, and your best bet is to check the surface (The Veil) for any signs of life that isn't a turtle or a dolphin...

The way I climbed walls in the frozen veil was to use nature form to create stepping stones.

Actually, you can hot soup + Beast up the hill and completely skip the bubbles. The trick is placement and a little patience, but you can BARELY snag the crystal at the bottom of the hill and hop up.

Actually, I used beast form, I JUST got on the edge.

Hmm, I tried it with only Beast, and I always fell short. Regardless, the point is that the nasty flying bubbles of suffering can all be skipped. 8D

Also, you can thorn-jump with Nature Form from the island to the bubbles right above it.

I tried that, but I couldn't get it to launch me anywhere near as strong as when I tried it accidentally on a hillside. What's the difference that makes it launch you as opposed to just bump you up a little bit?

Usually planting it DIRECTLY underneath you works. As in, the tip of the spire meets Naija's belly in what can only be described as a painful-looking (yet damageless) confrontation. Still haven't gone back to try Nature Form, but I'll give it a shot later on.
