This game is really great. There are a lot of cool moments, like when you first reach the veil, and neat tricks you have to just stumble upon; like I only just realized now that you can spin to suck recipe items and health toward you! The graphics and especially the music are really good too.
But I wanted to ask a question about Li. I find that he is too smothering and I really feel we have nothing in common. I want to let him know that I think it's time we started seeing other people. How should I go about doing that?
Thanks

But the problem is, what other people?

Just go to your home cave and click on his helmet right below the giant save crystal. He'll stop following you around and stay trapped in your cave...for eternity.

...or until you go back because you need him.

Ever wonder why he doesn't run out of air in that cave? i'm not too fond of Li as anybody who has read my posts about him can tell, but I still kept him around. He's an extra shot at the very least.

What I want to know is, what do you DO with him? Is he necessary to get through certain puzzles or something?

will have to try that vacuum trick, cool! I was mortified when Li started tagging along, was not that interested in sharing my personal space with him. you can tell alot about a guy with how he treats your pets and he basically totally ignored all of them. he's very persistent but eventually he'll get the message and leave, except around then you'll have gotten used to that ever present lump bobbing around you and his absence will leave you shamefully hollow feeling. men.... you would think he could at least have climbed a tree and caught that parrot for you.

From a gameplay perspective, he's basically a pet for most of the game. He does have a couple of other uses late in the game.

You'll propably figure when you get to that point, after that point, Li WILL play a big role in the rest of the story, even though you already had 9/10th of the story. =p
