Title: How do I turn the gear in the Sun Temple?

The tip came up on how to do it but I missed it as my little guy interrupted just as that happened.  Can anyone tell me how to turn the gear please?

I'm surprised so many ppl fail to make that connection.  Especially considering the game tells you how to spin as soon as you go near the gear....seemed obvious to me after that.

Actually, the first time I got the message my only reaction was: "Yeah, I know that. So?" and didn't even noticed the gear since you couldn't do nothing with the others.

Same with me  ;) I was so messed up with this thingie in the sun temple. I just figured it out accidentaly, when I spinned Naija around from boredom near the right gear  :P

As i stated in my first post I missed the tip that came up as my little one interrupted just as the tip came on screen.  Rather than re-load my game back at the last save point just to see the tip thought I would just post to see if someone could let me know.  As far as I know in the game there is no way to go back and see tips that have displayed already (I tried saving afterwards and then exiting the game and coming back in but no go...)

My post wasn't necessarily directed towards you.  There have been alot of posts about this very subject, you just happen to be the latest.

Str8jkt: Afaik in the newer patchs the tip gets repeated and isn't only shown once.

Left mouse click and move the cursor around Naija or left mouse click and press R.
