Hi All,
Okay so I found a previous thread on this that was locked after only one reply, except the original problem was never answered, which is, essentially this:
I've found the room with the whale melody listed. I've found the whale. I've sung the melody to it... and nothing happens.
I've tried combinations of the notes, backwards, singing it in different places.. you name it. Absolutely nothing happens except my clicky finger hurting.
Is there a particular spot you have to be in? Is there another location I have to visit before trying the song? I must have tried about a hundred times by now, and I'm getting a little frustrated. :)
Has anybody else experienced this? If anybody wants to try with a save game of mine, they are welcome.
Thanks,
D.

Only two things, I'm afraid:
1) In front of his face worked for me. Just below, where his mouth is but not actually touching the whale itself. My friend tried it while standing on his back so yeah it should work in most places near his head.
2) Make sure you got the song right. It's red tear, blue circle, purple circle, blue circle, teal-green-two-leaves-pointing-down-thing.
That's all, sorry!

Okay so I'm either blind or an idiot - I totally didn't see the first note (the red tear) on the statue of the whale (it's at an angle to the other notes and kind of blends in)... but now you mentioned it, I can see it, and it works.
I'll go and hide in the corner now. Thanks dhakkel. :)

Had the same problem. Either I didn't see the first note or forgot it on the way to the whale. :P
Anyway, I didn't feel like swimming all the way back to recheck the song. Thanks for the info.
Edit: Oops. there I go with thread necromancy once again. Sorry. :-[

Either way, I get that some people don't watch the actual year, but 30 December hasn't come yet you know. XD
