Title: Intro Sequence
Post by: thYme on December 29, 2007, 02:19:51 pm
So what's the deal? Why is it always a random screen with:

a. Windmills
b. Birds
c. Dragon

Does this effect gameplay? Is it just to confuse people? Anyone got a clue?

Any reason why it can't be a random intro simply because the devs thought it would be interesting?

Uh, you mean the Bit Blot logo bit? The intro sequence is the one with the boy's floating town getting smashed with meteors.

The bit before that is just a logo.

I mean the landscape you see right after the bit blog logo. I'm sure I've played a game (don't recall which one) where certain details in the menu/intro influenced the gameplay. Could be the same in Aquaria.

sometimes the landscape doesn't include the dragon or the windmills >.< so random
or sometimes, all of them are there...

I always just thought of that as the "lead-into bit-blot logo sequence".  Alot of devs have things like that.  Ever play a game by Raven Software?  They have a flock of birds turn into their logo.  I don't think it's anything important.

I've always thought it indicated some sort of debugging information.
