This is my first post here so I might not be doing this right. I was wondering how long you have to fight this boss???
The nature goddess(boss) took me exactly an hour and I was ready to jump out the window afterward and throw the game out there too. Here I am in the cathedral fighting the beast boss now and have given up after an hour because it is so frustrating and monotonous doing the same thing over and over again for an hour. Anyone have a time frame here so I have something to look forward too.....tyvm

This boss is a little tricky. Just remember that if you are hitting hit and he's not turning Red, you aren't damaging him.
When you know how to beat him, you can do it in about 1-2 minutes.
There are many threads about this boss in particular...just do a quick search.

I see now you have to feed him poisoned frogs....which you learned previously by reading the runes.
I will have to look into this rune reading more carefully now...ty for responding.
-
np :) I'm glad my vague response even helped.
gl with the rest of the game...it's a gooder :)

hy...he`s right when he openes the mouth :) and creates a zombie frog you must make the zobie go into the poison ......... then bind him......... go to energy form and shoot him to keep him back......... he will eat the frog ........... (and you if you are not carrefoul) (sorry my english)

reading the runes? there's a clue to this on the walls written in Aquarian?
I found this boss to be the hardest in the game, closely followed by a couple later on: the golem and creator 2nd form even when I found out the technique it still took a few times to get through and it exhausted my food larder. but by the time you get through the game you get mad game skills, nothing you actually physically pick up, and when I tackled this boss again was able to take him down first try with minimal consumption of food. he is doable, I totally feel your pain, and it's worth powering past as you'll be very empowered after!

I think there are more clues around Aquaria, I just never took the time to translate them all because I found out that they actually meant something when I almost finished the game.

Whoa whoa whoa WHOA. It took you an HOUR to beat the Nature form boss? If I have EVER fought a boss in ANY game for longer than 15-20 minutes MAX I immediately restart the fight and rethink my whole strategy. How could you fight for an hour and not think something more is going on there?
-
I actually too thought that you beat the nature form with singing the notes, just like the energy god. I didn't know I should've attacked her when I played the right note too. After about a half hour, I found out.
-
Yea I took about half an hour figuring out how to kill Mathalas too. But once I did I restarted it and tested my new strategy.
-
Mithalis, golem and 2nd form creator took me the longest and handed me my ass a few times

Lol, I really don't get how people find Mithalas hard, I mean, enemy that changes when in poison, the big guy sucing things in.
And you find out that they change in poison throughout going there, there are enough creatures.
And to figure that you can move that thing... Well, I guess that's just trying.
-
I think it's not the problem with they way of beating him, it's just that he's a really hard enemy (look, propably the strongest from all the bossess from the game, excluding creator). He has three passess and you still have to understand how to fight with him at the beggining, not to mention his horrible attacks in the few last moments...

Heh, if you say so, I found the squid/octopus alot harder, just like the Golem.
-
I thought the Golem was the hardest, but I had a bitch of a time learning how to dodge him. Eventually I just loaded up on Legendary Cake and some perogi's and raped him. And for your information, I had never seen a mutant transform into a poison one on the way there. That's just luck if you do frankly, since that was the only thing I didn't quite get in that fight.
-
I died the most times from all bosses at Mithalas. After that I always had enough tough cakes and stuff. ;)
The octopus was hard because of the darkness. I think the athmosphere adds a lot of feeled difficultness to a boss. I thought, for example, that the Sun worm was only a minor boss and that the big sun boss is waiting somewhere else, so I wasn't that reverential and tense and it was quite easy.
-
Not even when you got the seal? Like, there were multiple poison clouds and like 6 of those creatures, it's hard to miss them transform then.
But meh, I guess you were just unlucky. xD
Also that when you get the outfit of... I don't really know anymore which outfit it was, but it was also a place with alot of those creatures and poison.
So I don't know how someone could've missed that. Maybe they were all like: ENEMY!, SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT.

The fact that no other living being (that I know of) in Aquaria can be dragged with bind...
I hate that boss for that simple reason. Otherwise it is pretty easy.
