Title: Quick Question.
Post by: Kyuur on March 18, 2007, 02:53:19 am
Heya there guys.  :)

I was just wondering, with Aquaria, are you coding the game directly, or did you code a framework type thing with tools and build off that? I'm pretty young (13), and have game development as a hobby and possible job opportunity in the future (computer person, pretty much know more than my teacher does in Computers with the exception of C++), so I was just wondering what the better choice would be when developing a game. Gotta collect information before I can start, you know? Hopefully I posted this in the right forum as well. ::)

PS: Aquaria is looking nice, good luck with it, although I doubt you need luck to do good with it.  :P

Aquaria has its own engine, built on C++/OpenGL.

Awesome, thanks for the answer and the links Alec. ^-^ Again, good luck with the game. Maybe I'll become a regular around here. :P
