Hello everyone, new member here :)
Just discovered Aquaria today, and after watching the trailer it skyrocketed to the top of my most-wanted list :) Most of my questions regarding the game seems to have been asked and answered already, but as far as I could see I could not find an answer to one of them; Will the game support widescreen resolutions? With such lovely graphics, it would be great being able to enjoy them without things being streched. If not, could you see yourself implementing support for it in a future patch?

I have a widescreen LCD, so I added a 1680x1050 option - but the screen space is not actually wider, it just ensures that the game gets the right black bars to show at 4:3 within the wider aspect ratio. (I have an ATI card, and the drivers don't auto adjust 4:3 resolutions... grrrr)
I think work on a version that actually fills the widescreen space would come if/when we were doing an XBLA version.

Thank you very much for the answer :) I also have a WS LCD at 1680x1050 so it makes me happy to hear that you've already taken care of the main problem I have with gaming on it. I used to own a ATI card up until a few weeks ago (a X1600XT), and that was one of the main reasons I just recently switched over to Nvidia (a 8800 GTS 640MB). The bad thing about switching? Nvidia have many bugs in their latest drivers, and the function to do scaling while keeping the aspect ratio is one of the things that doesn't work. So at the moment I'm kinda in the same boat as you ;)

Any chance for a smaller widescreen res? My monitor, sad to say, only goes up to 1440x900.

Hmm... I'll have to get back to you on the specifics, I can't seem to test that res on this monitor. But there should be some way to make it work.
