Title: Graphics problem (see pic)
Post by: evo311 on December 22, 2007, 09:55:58 pm
I just found out about the game from IGN and wanted to try out the demo.  I loaded it up and this is what it looks like.  I assume this is the title screen, as I can hear music just fine.   I also upgraded to the latest video card drivers and get the same thing.

My system:
AMD Dual Core 4600+
2 gigs ram
Geforce 6800 Ultra
Soundblaster Audigy 2

Any help on how to fix this so I can try out the game would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It's not letting me attach the pic, so here is a link:

Do you have the latest video and audio drivers for your hardware? :)

Yes I do.  I upgraded them after this problem, but it still remains.

If you have both the latest video card and sound card drivers, then there might be something you can do with the Nvidia driver settings.

BTW what operating system are you running? (XP/Vista/?)

This error appears in every resolution, regardless of which settings i use.

But i need to change my driver cause of some other games that dont like this old driver.

All drivers are now up to date!

I think there was something you could do with Nvidia cards... setting something to "high quality" in the video card display settings?

(textures maybe?)

Does anyone else remember?

That's was my first intention, too but it does not help, sadly.
You can also set option for option. But finding the right option is hard, if you dont know what you looking for.

So if here is someone using a 7950GT with a newer driver, too so please post you settings ...

Finally it's absolut strange ... never happend before with any other game.

Already said that High Quality for Image Settings would get rid of that ;) Get NVTray and you can change that option »

Another suggestion would be to first search if others have had the same issue as you. Please don't be lazy :P !
