Really?  Castle Crashers seems to be doing quite well.  Of course it's art is directed at crude humor and it is juvenile in the truest sense of the word...but it's art right?

Art, yes, but art directed at the masses, and under a major corporation (side note: imagine Aquaria on the XBOX 360)
Please Chibi!  :o Now go and wash your mouth out lol

Castle Crashers isn't by a big company either.  It's by Behemoth which is basically the guys who run newgrounds.  The difference between them and Aqauria is that they have a humongous website with an enormous community giving them funds and moral support.  Aquaria just has us so let's make ourselves equivalent to the thousands Behemoth has!  Aquaria fans unite!

Ouch "slaps self." I just returned, i'll limit myself to posts that directly apply to me, are on my topics, and have been posted in in the last 120 days.

For the record, I don't have a problem with people posting a lot, as long as its related to the topic in a meaningful way. I also don't have a big problem with gravedigging as long as there's something interesting to add to the debate.

The time it becomes an issue is when people are posting just for the sake of getting more posts, cause its basically spam. :)

Well Chibi at least one of your posts sparked some meaningful conversation.  That one about adding a Journal.

Yeah, I really liked that one, specifically when it sparked having notes to locations on the map with markers. :) Aquaria could definitely use that feature. It would be nice to be able to remember exactly where to go when looking for something, but the game is pretty expansive and sometimes it can be a long swim just to get back to a specific location just to find out you were mistaken and the thing you were looking for is somewhere else. :/

It's sad Chibi because you do have good points to put forward, just control yourself and you will be fine :)

Alec that looks glorious :D

I've just noticed that in that screenshot, you can't see the game behind it: are you going to keep that feature, or will the background just be blue? (I love the improvement from the black-and-white version, the older one clashed with the beauty of Aquaria.  :) )

"EDIT" Sorry, just changed the brightness of my monitor and immediately saw the sun temple in the background. (Blushes in embarrassment)

Alec, that's awesome! KUDOS!!!
Can't wait to see a list of updates for the next release. Really hoping for more on the mod support side.
Still though! AWESOME JOB! Even looks WAY better! :D
