Just an FYI, I got to a room where Naija said something to the effect of "these creatures resemble that fallen statue that prompted me to come here" when I hadn't yet seen the statue. I came across the statue later, where she then suggested I should go to the place where the creatures are.
(Sorry, don't remember the exact dialog, but it was clear I was supposed to see these in the reverse order.)
