Title: (spoilers) places for rubbery meat before the Veil?
Post by: smjjames on December 14, 2007, 06:00:39 am
anybody know what exactly gives rubbery meat before the veil? I'm trying to stock up for Mithalas, but the rubbery meat seems a bit random since I haven't kept track of where I often find it or what enemies.

There's an Octopus in Home Waters, near the pearl cave. You can kill him for rubbery meat and small tentacles.

yea, I eventually decided to farm that guy. He basically does no damage, although he still does what an octopus does anyway.

It is really easy to lose track of him when you get inked. Hell, I lost him once and decided to reset the area.

Those brown trilobite guys in (I THINK) Kelp Forest drop rubbery meat too. I managed to get 8 by swimming through all the areas they were in and killing all of them.

They are the small brown round things that just home in on you really fast and come in groups of 3+.

(I THINK)
You're right.  :P
Even though they drop those rarely, i was supprized to see them drop such a thing, i guess they must be half squid or something.

They are suppoused to be horseshoe crabs, but yea they look a bit like trilobites.

There is a mini-boss form of those horseshoe crabs somewhere (I forget where exactly, but its in the same region where the little guys are) and the boss form actually looks like a trilobite. He's really easy to kill though.
