Title: Copy game progress from Android to Mac?
Post by: phatboing on December 03, 2013, 06:59:45 pm
I've been playing Aquaria on my Nexus 7 for a while, and I was wondering if it's possible for me to copy my progress over to my Mac so I can play it there.

Any ideas?

If you have android filesystem access, just copy the saves over (you have to figure out yourself where the files are, no idea).
If their extension is .bin, rename them to .aqs, or the PC version won't recognize them.

Note that none of the officially distributed Aquaria versions load android saves properly (i.e. you'll lose items, map visited areas, and other things), so you'll need a proper update (http://www.bit-blot.com/forum/index.php?topic=4313.0).

The good news is, that worked - I got my map progress and inventory to transfer. The bad news is, the update crashed on me twice in the last ten minutes. I'm turning in for tonight, but I'll PM you the crash log next time. Thanks!
