Actually, yeah, that'd be a great idea. I'm into the lyricless musics myself, because if it's singing, it's gonna be popular, and it can't be used for yourself. It's just a toy, not a piece of digital clothing, then, really..

...Uh, I can't describe it.

Great, thanks Alec!

Since you're in a giving mood, can you give us a beta version to test, or a demo, or ten new trailers?

I had to ask. Fantastic music by the way.

One of the coolest things about the independent thing is that we can share the journey with you guys. Feels like we're all on this road together. Things have kinda exploded since the trailer hit the web, so its an easy time to dream about all the places the game could go...

Exciting stuff, glad you guys are along for the ride!

I'm happy for you guys. It's a great feeling when your sleepless nights of work are appreciated by others.  I'm making sure I got front row seats for this one, I got my money set aside for it. Something that, believe it or not, I hardly ever do, not even once a year. You and Derek are doing something great here, I envy you guys. Doing something you enjoy for a living is one of the best ways to go in life and I'll keep my fingers and all five of my heads crossed for you.

Do you guys have any plans to press an actual CD of music?  I don't know what it is, but I really like to own game soundtracks.  Ripping them from the game or downloading them (I used DirectSong recently despite everything in my body that told me I shouldn't because it's evil) just doesn't feel the same as getting a nice CD with a case and art and stuff.  From what we've heard so far, I'd completely buy an OST CD.  I have no idea what would be involved in pressing one, though.  Still, even if it was just something slapped together from lulu.com (http://www.lulu.com) I'd totally go for it.

Another good idea would be, like Linux, including the game itself, is having people make live copies to distribute by orders, and stuff. The paypal would be hell to work through, like, paying systems and junk. I'm sure it would work fine.

Yeah, we'd totally love to release a soundtrack CD with a sexy label, liner notes, the werks: possibly part of a Limited Edition release of the game... i.e. You'd get a boxed version of the game with soundtrack, manual and other goodies. There are so many cool things we could include in that.

I'm the first who will buy the Soundtrack :D. I love the song and I would not be surprised that the compositor have already heard Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda and Konji Kondo ^^. Good job ! I enjoy :)

I definitely love their work more than mere words can describe! Final Fantasy VI was life changing for me.

Lol, I have yet to play FFVI.  And, according to my buddies, I am communist for not doing so.  The jokes on them though.  I'm a socialist.

I understand there is something magical that we can't explain, when I've listenned to the Terra's theme for the first time, each cells of my body had felt changed :). I think that the soundtrack of Chrono Cross it's one of the very best too. But there are too many musics which are very beautiful and like you said, their work is inexpressible.

I like a lot of what Uematsu has done, though I still consider him overrated.  I was really impressed with Hitoshi Sakimoto's work on the FFXII soundtrack, actually.  Seems like the trendy thing to do was bash it because it wasn't Uematsu, but I couldn't stop listening to it.  Had it going at work for like 2 weeks straight, even went out of my way to order the big 4-disk collection with all the pretty art and everything.  Still, Uematsu did some awesome stuff.  I liked a lot of FFX's stuff, and though I didn't play FFVI until just a while ago,, it had some really great music.   Wasn't quite as impressed with the game just because it's rough coming off of more modern RPGs just from a pacing standpoint.  Old FFs sort of drive me crazy with all the random battles and such.  VI had great characters, though, and so many memorable moments, it's hard not to love it.

I wish game music got more credit, though.  There are so many amazing examples of wonderful game music that shouldn't have such a limited audience.  The Oblivion soundtrack has me completely enthralled now even after listening to it over months and months, and I still go back and regularly experience the Silent Hill soundtracks.  Silent Hill 3 is one of my all-time favorite OSTs.  And I remember being younger and using a tape recorded to record the Secret of Mana soundtrack from my TV.  Went to every area in the game and got all the music, including the end battle and everything, heh.  It was a funny experience to buy the actual OST on CD years later.

I just had to register to express my admiration of your work. The game looks phenomenal but what really did it for me was the music used in the trailer. It really connected with me on a deep (no pun intended) emotional level. Yes, bring on the soundtrack! I've listened to the trailer music several times now  :)

And I look forward to the game as well of course  ;)

Eh...? Paypal IS NOT hard to work with, i can get a Paypal paying website running in about 30 minutes, with a coffee break on 15 minutes included. However, Paypal does take a high amount of the money you pay and i know that the guys behind this game have looked at other alternatives which is better.
