Hi
First of all, I want to congratulate you for making such a wonderfull game!
And now to the point :) I have noticed that there is folder named 'screenshot', but i cant find out how to take screenshot in the game...there is no such key in the options menu nor in the documentation. (hiting the 'PrintScreen' button and then switching to windows and pasting image to paintbrush works, but it's pain-in-the-ass)
Thanks for any advice!

ctrl+alt+p should grab TGA shots to the screenshots folder.
You could also try the free version of fraps (http://fraps.com/).
-
Thx for reply, fraps looks promising...
-
I've actually had pretty bad luck with FRAPS for shots. The images it takes always seem to be pretty massively compressed. Kind of a shame.
Thanks for shortcut, Alec. I'd been wondering what it was but hadn't found it (had been popping out to copy stuff into other programs for days now, that was getting old fast).
-
Just set Fraps to take PNG shots instead!
(unless that option isn't available in the demo version)
-
Hell, I'm a registered user and I don't think I ever even noticed it could do PNG shots. Now I feel stupid, yay. I'd feel even more stupid, but I haven't reinstalled the thing since my XP reinstall the other day. So at least I can say I missed it while I didn't actually have a copy of the program to look at.

You should add this to the readme file. :)
-
i hope you add the option to simply press print instead of such a wild combination (seems you had too much contact with macs ;) )
-
PRINTSCREEN should work as well.
-
I've taken a bunch of screenies with Prntscrn and paste in MSPaint, but I see no evidence of my Prntscrns in the Aquaria folder...if it saved them, they're somewhere obscure.

PRINTSCREEN should work as well.
It didn't for me, but this PC is usually a bit cranky anyway.Prtinscreen didn't even copy to my clipboard, which is why I went searching for the in-game key command. :)

hrm... pretty sure its bound to printscreen as well. i'll investigate laters.

If you happen to have Paint Shop that also has a capture mode that is very useful and of course you can save your shots in whatever file type you like :D
