Well, I wuz poking around teh forumz a bit, and I found this epic topic of awesome proportions:

INTRODUCING THE ALIEN NAIJA RESKIN/MOD
Unfortunately, I was unable (actually, I didn't even try) to replicate the 4-armed nature of this drawing, but nevertheless, I think it still turned out fairly well. Basically, I split the picture thingy up into the right images and tweaked them a bit, so it looks ok. Since there is only that one picture that Echolocating made, this mod only changes the default Naija skin, and thus some of the costumes will look strange and stuff. Also, I spent a good amount of time tweaking how everything looked, but it's still not perfect, so don't look too closely, mmkay?
Interesting fact: You can change the image size for some of the parts of Naija, and it'll display the image as larger. Zoomed in more than 1.0 (I think), however, the image will scale incorrectly. I had to enlarge the image for Naija's head in order to fit the antennae thingies in, so this glitch is there, but isn't noticeable ingame.

Nicely done. The clothing could be more elaborate, though.
If you want to make four arms, you could just stick two arm parts on the same image, but the results probably sucks. Only good way I know of is to remake all the animations.

The sad part is that was the last digital painting I made on my computer. I was having so much fun learning to paint at the time. Life has a funny way of catching up with you. Anyway, I'm flattered that you were inspired to create a skin from my character concept. She looks pretty cool, but damn... it's too bad that adding the other arms wasn't an easy thing. She still looks great though. :)
Sorry for digging up an old topic, but I'm just tickled that somebody thought I made an "epic topic of awesome proportions". Even though I haven't dabbled in digital art since, I've been sketching these simplistic (much easier to animate and create) alien characters that seem to fit into Aquaria all too well. It would appear that Aquaria still inspires me. I'll be sure to share these new character concepts in near future.
