How do you get past these : Pink things blocking way to beast form & giant things with laser eyes that start when you shoot an eye.
Please help! I really love this game but this part is ruining it! EDIT: It's in the cathedral.

Shoot all eyes of the big creature, some pink blob will come out, shoot it.
-
It worked, Thanks!

Protip for video games in general: If there's an eye, shoot it.
-
He shot the eyes, individually. =p

As ashamed as I am about admitting it, I totally panicked when I first ran into them. Giant tentacled blobs with too many eyes and Naija's strange "beware, there is some sort of boss" gasp were just too much, so I was a bit too panicky and unthinking about shooting and simply spammed it. And got hit by itself and its offsprings. It took me about an hour and several deaths to figure out that my strategy needed some rethinking. So I asked my fiancé, who - unlike myself - is pretty experienced in gaming, for a tip, and he had it right... They really are more difficult than they look, I think *g*

Same for me, actually. Not recently, though. ;)

Nothing to be ashamed of in that. I'm a reasonably experienced gamer but, the first time I played Aquaria, I got very involved and reacted the same way. Took me ages to figure out how to deal with them.

amazing, first time i see a bot using a Markov Text generator (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markov_chain#Markov_text_generators) instead of silly random bullshit.
The are getting intelligent! Run! :P
(feel free to remove my post together with the spam one -- had to post this because of scientific interest)

We've had a lot of that sort on this forum. Just dump a weird, sub-literate post on the end of a thread that uses some of the same key-words or -phrases. I was pretty surprised the first time but a bit desensitised by now :P
