I'm not sure what you're asking exactly, I never heard of Aquaria saying "create mymod".
However, to play/edit a mod you'll need an .xml file with the same name as the folder of your mod, with some details in it, look at the other .xml's to figure out what.
Then you need a .png file which is your map layout, and that's the minimum, if you want to add things you'll need to add a whole lot more.
I suggest you start looking at the modding tutorial first, that's where I started.

i did, and then did all the stuff u need to do and double checked it (its all correct) before asking.
(also im good with computers although this is not my area, im not making stupid mistakes like file name's or easy stuff)

Did you put your mods under the folder _mods? Mods have two parts -- an .xml and a folder. They have the same name. The .xml is just a properties list. The actual mod files (in the same structure as the game itself) should be in its corresponding folder.

yeah i noticed that there were 2 file/folders like that but i put it under _mods because when i looked at the .xml and figured that it wasn't the right place then i double tested bu putting random mod|maps into both, neither worked :(
