Post by: krizzl0r on December 11, 2007, 12:38:51 am
theres an area in something forest where are a few little white dots instead of enemies. not moving though. but you can mark and your pet attacks them.. noticed it because my shots flew in the directions.
maybe a lost race? im so excited!!1  ^-^

It's a missing enemy, and a known bug. They're gonna fix it in the next patch (probably).

We've seen screens and they are just green frogs (you've seen the purple frogs).

Actually, I believe Alec fixed it in the latest patch already, if I'm not mistaken.

This will fix the "Time Paradox" problem for players who haven't reached the end of the game yet. The missing creature in the forest is now working, as well as some tiny map/boss tweaks. There is also a tweak to the save game screenshot code which may improve the saving speed for some folks.

Bingo! (http://www.bit-blot.com/forum/index.php?topic=315.0)

I had my pet attack the wall occasionally without any specific reason. I think it happened primarily in the last dungeon. I was just collecting stuff, and without reason, my pet blasted the hell out of a corner.

Yeah, that'd be cause it was trying to attack the missing enemy.

Yeah, that'd be cause it was trying to attack the missing enemy.
In the last dungeon? Wouldn't it be more likely those hidden ceiling crab mutant things or the annoying grabbing arms?

I remember it to be the last dungeon, but it could indeed have been the Kelp Forest, too. And the crab mutants usually hang from the ceiling. My pet was just shooting in some corner.
