Title: Redeeming Aquaria on Steam?
Post by: Mika on December 21, 2010, 04:36:59 pm
Hmm, haven't been here in ages.

Just wondering, since the Humble Bundle version of Aquaria is redeemable on Steam, would it be at all possible to do the same for my original purchase from 2007? It seems reasonable to assume that it would be possible.

Nope, just the Humble Bundle, I'm not really sure why again, but the Aquaria you bought here isn't redeemable on Steam unless they make some kind of deal with them.

Something awkward I noticed myself is that the Aquaria from the Bundle still shows as if I didn't actually BUY Aquaria from the steam shop, while it DOES do this for Gish, World of Goo and the others.

Yeah, I figured that it isn't possible right now, but I was kind of hoping that maybe my little post will spark the discussion between Valve and bitblot. :P

Man can hope, right? :D

Man has hoped this before actually, but I can understand why.

I was still hoping for a steam sale at some point, but I believe there will be, I just can't remember when.
Sadly enough it isn't during the Christmas sale that's going on right now.

It shows as redeeming a CD of HIB on your account page, though I haven't noticed any other differences.

Oh wow nevermind, I'm retarded. It shows as bought and I can "play now" from the store page, I must've looked completely over it.
