Normally I would have assumed it just wasn't supported but someone here said it did work.
I've tried playing Aquaria with the gamepad box checked and unchecked. The microsoft software is installed and up to date. The controller does work for a commercial "Games for Windows" (bleah) game.
So my question is, is the Xbox 360 wired controller really supported?

I know mine works.
Are you "player 1"?

Yeah, works for me. I just let Windows auto-download the software, plugged it in, checked the box on the Aquaria launcher, and it worked fine after that. I ultimately decided I prefer mouse control, but I played with the pad for a couple hours just go check it out, didn't have any troubles.

Mine wireless 360 pad works fine.
Make sure you turn on the pad before you start the game.

worked like a charm for me :) the only thing that I really noticed was that when looking at the songs you have in the menu. You can't select a specific song to see how it's played
