I can get the water to raise and lower, but I don't know what to do after that. Any hints?

See anything interesting on the surface of the water? Look at the map and make sure you've gone into all available rooms.

There's the blue crystal in one of the rooms, but I can't seem to interact with it... Am I missing something?
-
You can't? How do you usually interact with big rocky shaped things?

Sing to 'em? Shoot 'em? Get ghosty with them? Plant seeds on them?
None of those seem to work.

It's hard to hint at it without giving away the answer. :P Best I can tell you is that it's a combination of movement and changing water levels a few times till you can directly interact with the stone.

How do you interact with rocks, man? :D
You know, rocks? Ones that block your path? Haha.

A-ha! Thanks that got it.
It was hard to tell that you could move it, the other rocks tend to "stand out" more.

Yeah, I know, took me a bit to figure out too. Good luck with the rest of the dungeon!

Okay, I guess I'm extremely stupid, because I'm still not able to figure it out with this information. I can move the stone (in its holder) wherever above water level I want, but I don't know where I'm supposed to put it. My first thought is I should get it down to the dark room, but I'm unable to lower the water level to there and I fail to get it out of the floating holder.
I've tried and failed:
* Put it under a ceiling and raise water level. Depending on location, it either sits stuck in the ceiling or suddenly teleports through the ceiling once the water level reaches the upper floor. I can't find any way to manipulate it in the first condition, and the second is basically the same as where it was when I lowered it in the first place.
* Put it on the ledge in the leftmost upper room and lower the water, then wall-jump up to it. Depending on location, either gets stuck on the floor or teleports down to a room I haven't explored yet. Can't see any way to manipulate it still.
* Jump at it in all forms I have (normal, fish, energy, nature, beast).
* Shoot it with energy and a variety of consumed ammunition, as well as sprouts and even the cute bubbles of the fish form.
* Jump over it while pulling.
* Curse at it (don't have a mic though :))
The good thing is, my blundering around has made me find the treasure in the area, which I never would have found if I hadn't tried so hard to find something to get further.

Have you taken it to see the sun yet?
-
Gah, I can't believe I had it just a few centimeters away from where it was supposed to go when I tried to get it stuck on the ledge. Thanks a lot!

Ok, I have a different question. So I dragged the rock with me, went and fought the thingy and got Sun Form. Now what? There's still some part of the tample I can't get to because the water won't reach that high. I figure there's more to do with the rock then just leave it somewhere on the floor, right?

You know what abilities Sun Form gives? You can go to a new place in the Sun Temple now.

Where? The only place I haven't been in the Sun Temple is the north area/exit because the water doesn't raise up that high. I can wall-hope my way up there and then up the cogs into the next room but after that it's a no go. :/

I think dhakkel may be a little confused; I had the entire Sun Temple map filled in before I got the Sun form. You'll be wanting to head south into the Abyss, although you were along the right lines for getting something optional by going along those cogs, so you may want to poke around there a bit more before you head off.
-
Thanks, I managed to finally make my way up there after what felt like hours. I also poked around some more and found a nice treasure to add to my home.
-
Oh, yeah, you take the crystal through the dark areas, don't you? Whoops.
So yeah Sun Form is it for the Sun Temple, haha. Well, yeah, except the optional thing right at the top.
