Title: Demo Installer Problems
Post by: Ben on December 09, 2007, 04:26:34 am
Hi everyone, I thought I'd try out the demo version bef0re I go and buy the game but each time I've downloaded it (3 time from different mirrors) I get this error message:

"The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus."

It has a command line switch to skip the check, but the install fails 30% through data.000, I've checked my disk's SMART status and I'm doing all sorts at the moment, I've scanned for viruses using AVG and I've downloaded the demo 3 times.

Not really sure what's happening / what to do!

I've had the same problem with the version I grabbed via TIGSource (which I think was hosted on DerekYu.com)...I'm trying the link from Derek's blog at the moment but it'll be a few minutes yet.

The link on my site went down. (too much traffic?)

This mirror should be the most stable:

http://www.flashbangstudios.com/mirror/AquariaDemo.2007.12.07.exe (http://www.flashbangstudios.com/mirror/AquariaDemo.2007.12.07.exe)

That's the one Derek links to, right? Works just deliciously for me.
