Title: Getting changes made in Animation Editor to stick
Post by: Inyssius on July 07, 2010, 05:54:53 pm
So. I've been trying to mess around with adding and moving around bones. I go into the Animation Editor, rearrange the bones to match, click Save, hit ESC ... and when the map finishes reloading, the entity looks EXACTLY THE SAME as it did before.

What is up with that? And how can I kill it?

Weird, it has always worked fine for me.

Try to open the animation file at the same time in a text editor and check if it is updated with you save the animation.

Update: I still don't know what the bloody 'ell that was all about, but I got it to work properly. Apparently it was saving the new animation file in that specific mod's animations subfolder, and that messed other things up somehow. I dunno. In any case, finding the new animation file from wherever the editor had dumped it and putting it in the right place solved the problem.
