Who's the eleventh face that shows up in the final, before the Creator's fight?
I don't have any imagem :/
-
Oh wait. I'm an idiot. ^^
-
Yeah, that's--wait, the eleventh face? Huh. I assumed you were talking about the thirteenth, which is certainly Naija's mother.
I'm not sure who 11 is. It's not Mithalas because he's number 12, and it's not the Mithalans because the Creator didn't make them (like the Druniad, who are also not depicted).
Along similar lines, who is 5? I can't seem to put a monster to that face, though I think I've encountered it...
-
5 Is Mermog King.
11 is most likely the priests of Mithalas or something.
I don't see what other race it could be, cause not one else has fins on their head, and Mithalans don't have them pointing down.
-
Ooh that one. I thought it might've been the price. :3
Or maybe Naija has a father? D:
-
Yeah, the eleventh, before Mithala and after Lumerean.
But "they all are children of Mithala", can't be the priests...
-
No one says that these are faces of the gods or the races, face 12 could be either Mithala or a Mithalan, simple as that, though most likely Mithala, I must admit that.
Though who in this whole game is important enough to come after Mithala? I'd say only the priests. And it's only the priests that have their earfins down, sorry bud.
-

... except if Eleven isn't Mithala, it must have preceded him, because he would then have to be Twelve.
EDIT: I'd say it has to be Mithala, because there's just no one else for it to be--perhaps he made them and left them, and over the following centuries they reimagined him in their own image? Except Mithala made all of the Mithalans instead of the Creator, so I wouldn't expect any of them to be Twelve; otherwise the Druniads, the Forest Sprites, and Naija would be on that wall. So... yeah.
EDIT EDIT EDIT: It occurs to me that there's a great big crownéd skeleton in the Bone Cave that's otherwise unaccounted for. I suppose he could have been an extremely large Mithalan king from ages long past, but that doesn't really feel right.
-
Huh, I totally forgot about him. Is he Drask?
-
I believe that might be "King" Drask, also a Mithalan, not the 11th face.
The talk abotu skeletons made me wonder about the skeleton that's at the nature god tho... or was that a simple walker?
-

The one that's actually inside the Forest Goddess is a walker, yeah--its filename is "dead-walker.png", conveniently dispelling any lingering doubt. ^-^ The long, toothy skull right outside the door (or possibly outside the door to the next zone over, I can never keep those two straight), though, is named "heretic-skull"--which is an intriguing tidbit if ever there was one, no? ;D
Also, although it could be Drask's skeleton, I doubt it--size issues aside, his crown was different, and he was always referred to as a Prince (even many years later, when Naija found his spirit trapped within the Body).
-
Well if there was a prince I assume there most likely must have been a king.

Oh, indeed! I don't think it was grumpy old King Not-Appearing-In-This-Picture or any of his predecessors, though, for the aforementioned size reasons if nothing else; that skeleton's taller than Naija when it's sitting down, let alone standing up, and his proportions don't seem to indicate that he was just a really big guy from a race of otherwise-human-sized people.
-
Then what race is he? I think all the Aquarian races were more or less Naija's proportion...
This where Alec swoops in and totally explains everything to us.
. . .
please?
-

Certainly (and that's an interesting factoid in itself). On the other hand, he is smaller than seven of the Creator's other twelve displayed creations were (Nautilus, Crab, Octopus, Turtle, Fallen God, Forest Goddess, and Mithala)--at least, by the time Naija encountered them. Presumably they had grown larger with time.

I meant with "King" Drask that it was the father of Prince Drask, seeing his painting is up there too.
Maybe it's something that has to do with the Spirit form, it's like... the only thing left.
I don't know what else it could be.
-
Maybe it was a random extra face they added to make Mia the thirteenth face / creation? Being an unlucky number and all... :P
Besides, earlier on, "You are the daughter of the thirteenth" sounds more ominous than "You are the daughter of the twelfth."
-

Nah, he just sits there and has fun reading our thoughts. ;)
I think it is Prince Drask too. Isn't it explained somewhere already?
-

In the game? Nope.
-
It can't be Prince Drask, he's not a creation of the Creator. He's a creation of Mithala.
I'm horrible in English, sorry if I didn't undeerstand you :p
-
You understood correctly, and that is exactly why we're confused about who that is. Who knows... the creator could've gone "Wow, I'm proud of Mithala" and put the prince on his wall, for all we know.
That face could even be a failed attempt at Mia. :D
-
It could also be the "dad" boss in the Sunken City. Look at the bulges in its forehead.
-

But isn't the dad supposed to be human?
-
Nope, the dad is a failed attempt of the Creator's interpretation of his father.
-
So therefore, the father is "supposed" to be human, but isn't. ^^
-
In my opinion, I think the Creator's vision of humanity distorted with time (his appearance alone is testament to that). If he retained any vision of humanity to begin with.
And where have you been, Lady-Succubus? Haven't heard from you in a while.
-
I'm around, just haven't found any reason to post too much. ^^
Don't really have anything too constructive to add to anything.
-
Aaron Demner's walkthrough lists them as
"Nautilus Prime
Crabbius Maximus
Octopus Prime
the giant Turtle Momma
the Fallen God
the Arnassi
the Erulian
the Krotite
the Drunian
the guys from The Sun Temple
Mithala pre-corruption
a Mithalan
then..Naija?"
-
That's Mia, not Naija. ^^
Why'd they have to give such a cute name to an evil person anyways? DX
-
Maybe because she wasnt supposed to be evil in the first place?
-
Hmm. ^^
I guess that makes sense.
-
Yea, in his walk through Aaron mis-quoted Mithala as saying Naija was the thirteenth, where he actually said that Naija was the daughter of the thirteenth, so Aaron got that last face wrong too. Or he was purposely giving dis-information so as to not spoil the ending and epilogue.
Now a related question: in the epilogue we see Lucien getting the story from the blue crystal and flying off, but we also see a woman sleeping, obviously not Naija, shes taller and thinner. Who's that? Did Naija and Li have two offspring?
-
The filename for her graphics is "luciengf", so we believe it's Lucien's girlfriend.
-
The only option I see is that woman is the fusion of Mia with Naija.
Quite crazy, but yeah :P
-
This is an interesting topic of discussion, so I decided to take some screenshots of the faces for ease of reference, so no one who is interested in this topic has to load up the game themselves to get a look at the faces. Labeled the faces, as well.

they are rather large so I didn't feel the need to post the full size image of all of them, and I'm not entirely sure how to thumbnail link them.
-
Spoiler: Well as its already been established the last one is indeed Mia, but easy detail to notice, thanks to Aristobulus; different hair. where Naija's mop of hair is distinctly unkempt, Mia's is distinctly patterned, the typical anime two bangs. (not to imply that Aquaria is much like an anime though with the right team we could make an awesome one) Edit: Though the parted bangs might throw one off a tad.
-
maybe it is the creator,
i know each one is a boss
-
Yes, because the creator has earfins.
Second, I wouldn't call Mia a 'boss'.
-
Hey, i found it out...
as weird as it seems,
its a krotite!
-
No it's not, the god of the Krotites is already on the wall. Just like the Druniads aren't on the wall, but their god is.
Now stop double posting.
-
no, a krotite, not the krotite god.
-
We still can ask Derek or Alec. ;)
inoob, you made a lot of double posts today. I told you two days ago that you should stop doing that. Since you won't stop, you get the 3rd and last ban warning.
In addition, I will from now on delete one of your double posts every time you make one. I'll choose the one I find less contributing (though choice sometimes).
PS: Oh wow! There is a modify-button in the top right corner of my post! That way I can edit a post to add stuff I forgot. How convenient!
-
I love you Xia, did I ever mention that?

Thanks guys, I'll do my best. :-*

Oh wait.. we're close to revealing the identity of the 11th race. Clue in our thread:
