Title: Crashing on load (yeah, still...)

I posted in a thread several weeks ago talking about problems I was having getting this (and other Humble Bundle games) to run. What would happen was, I would try to run it, the window would open, and the game would instantly freeze, requiring me to ctrl-alt-delete and end the program. It was suggested that the problem was a lack of OpenGL compatibility with my video drivers.

I recently obtained a new driver to try and installed it. Now, I get a different problem; the window opens for a moment and promptly closes.

So, yeah. I am officially out of ideas. Does anybody have any suggestion? I run Windows XP, and have a Radeon 9800 Pro video card.

Try using an even older driver instead of a newer one?
That's the only advice there's left to give really.

Most computers have an on-board video card as well. You could try running the game through that instead and see what happens.  :-\
