Are there any Mass Effect fans here?

I just saw this (http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/28680/Legendary_Pictures_Acquires_Mass_Effect_Film_Rights.php) today. Looks like Legendary (300, Clash of the Titans, etc.) is picking up the rights, and the Bioware heads are producing it.

Seems like it could be a fun action movie- and it has the creators on board.

Thoughts?
