Title: Alone in the dark... now what?
Post by: Arphahat on May 13, 2010, 06:25:32 am
I coerced a glow fish to hang out with me in my travels through the abyss, but unfortunately, he was eaten.  Now, it is dark.  How do I get out of here?

You are too early in the Abyss. Try to go back (or open a savegame from before you got in the dark) and go up instead of down then. You will find a way to bring light into the dark. :)

How do you get a glowfish to follow you? After seeing this post I tried and I tried but eventually I gave up and just did it the normal way. XD

I believe you have to sing an appropriate note.

Oh right. The fish in Aquaria have a fascination for their color notes. ^^;

Wasn't it going in Fish form, shooting a bubble around him and bind that bubble with the bind song?

That's what the bubbles do? I thought it was just to show that fishies can't attack. o.o

Now I must try. xD

Or that. I really haven't played Aquaria at all since I downloaded the Beauty of Aquaria mod in February, so forgive me if my gameplay knowledge is a little off.

I'm gonna buy an HIB soon though, just to support Indie developers and try some of those other games. Might play Aquaria again when I do that.

HIB is over. :(

Too late eh? Oh well, as if I don't have enough games on my comp already.  ::)

But you can never have too many. =^.^=

Every time I see this topic I think "you can fear the dark, and hope for the light." XD
How do you get a verse stuck in your head but not the chorus anyway? >_<

But that's where the issue of space comes up. With this comp, I'd have to uninstall an existing game if I want to install one more than 200mb and still have a little room left. ie: I just got a Starcraft craving so I'm gonna have to uninstall Fallout 2, even though it's one of my favorite games.

You could do something I can't: get a larger / another hard drive. ^.^

Or just get a whole new computer entirely.

I was going to suggest that, but computers are so expensive. :( I want a new computer. Mine is so bad I was amazed that Aquaria wasn't running at 5 fps. :3

I want to get a Pandora so I can delete all the games off of here and use this comp for work. However, I kind of feel like I have better things to spend my money on.

What's a Pandora? You don't plan to release even more evil spirits into the world, do you? o.o

Pandora (http://www.open-pandora.org/) is the new handheld computer for games.

Or so I understand.

Ooh I see. I'll probably never get anything that I can't see myself using productively. :3

I prefer Pandora (http://www.pandora.com/) myself.

... just don't get me started on the OTHER use of that name. *wanders off grumbling about blue indians*

I have never seen Avatar and I never intend to. ^.^

It was a very pretty movie that included a fascinating world that deserved to be properly examined, but got utterly ignored in favor of ham-handed preachyness. I wanted more about how the world itself was so very painfully obviously engineered by an advanced race. If any world ever had an argument for Intelligent Design, it's Pandora. I mean really... the entire planet is a biological supercomputer, and every race on it is a symbiote.

Avatar was just a movie to show off how far we are with CG and it was an awesome movie. I suggest to anyone, how corny the story may be, this is a must-see movies of this age.

Either way, there is also Pandora jewelery (http://www.pandora-jewelry.com/). My mom loves that. @_@ Jewelery is expensive.

Jewlery is pretty. So is Aquaria! And the Abyss!

And so is getting lost in the abyss because you don't have the sun form!

We're back on topic now. xD

If you know the plot to Disney's Pocahontas, then you know the plot to Avatar. I am not kidding you, this is a fact

We're back on topic now. xD

Not if I can help it!  :P
