Title: Does Li's song do anything? (spilers)

I'm stuck at the gold door in the abyss. From forum post I can tell Li is suppose to open it for me. My problem is that singing Li's song never does anything. I found him long back in the game, but mistakenly gave him the helmet back. Now I'm stuck at the door and singing the song does nothing. I see the "L" showing the song was sung properly, but Li never shows up. He is swimming in my home, but I can't interact with him.

I get the impression giving the helmet back to him caused some sort of bug. Is there anyway else to open the gold door?

Its normal that putting his helmet back on makes him stay in that location, so he can't be summoned with the Li song like he usually can. Try interacting with his helmet rather than his body. If that doesn't work it may be a bug.

The song just toggles if he uses his laser weapon, other actions are automatic or regular "click to interact" things.

The song also summons Li, but only when his helmet isn't on. :)
