Your will be ready to that I will made do fan continuation of game Aquaria!
Possibility to play for different heroes, for Li and Naija will be the main difference from original game Aquaria. In my game will be used original GFX and SFX. Here screenshots of my game at a development cycle:

aquaria_fake - it is only my casual temporary name of game.
On the theme - in shortly time I can release the prototype of this fan-game showing a engine of my game

Frankly, I'm a little underwhelmed. If you're going to make a sequel to Aquaria, you might want to use the editor...

to Chibi
About what editor you speak?
If you are dissatisfied with quality of the drawing shown on screenshots know, at the given development cycle there is a work on a game engine, and the drawing will be added later

If you're creating a sequel to Aquaria, don't
make up your own game engine use a different engine. It's highly unlikely it will fit the art and gameplay styles present in Aquaria, and there's a map editor built into the game (I'm assuming you have played it). Wait until you have a little more to offer before you open a thread.

It seems to me that only by means of the editor of levels I cannot realise the conceived possibilities which are not present in original game
-
I'd suggest coming back with a playable demo, second to that, what are you making this with anyway, game maker?
-
Doesn't look like game maker. Although it could be, since out of the three means of game making that I am capable of (game maker, flash, java) it would be the easiest to recreate Aquaria with.
I just imagined the workload of recreating Aquaria with java. *Shivers* Horrid :o.
Anyway, I don't see the point of recreating Aquaria. The editor gives you almost endless possibilities (although I haven't quite figured it out yet). If you are going to make a "sequel" I suggest you make it as a mod. If you want to make a stand-alone game, I suggest doing it with a different engine. I don't see the point in remaking an engine that the editor basically hands out to you on a platter with ribbons and a cherry on top.
Also, greetings from fellow Russian. (I make the assumption based on your start-sign) :)
