Title: How to add new mod to Mac
Post by: Ripley2009 on August 21, 2009, 01:30:12 am
Good evening,

I am trying to add the new mod to my Mac, Aquaria version 1.1.0, but I am having trouble. I opened the package contents and added the beautyofAquaria folder to the "Aquaria/Contents/Resources/macinstall/_mods/" folder, and the beautyOfAquaria.xml file into the same folder. They both now reside with the rest of the mods like the Jukebox. However, when I start the game I don't see it as an option. Only the Jukebox, tutorial, etc.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

You need to install to the Aquaria folder in your application support folder, not inside the app bundle.

The _macinstall folder is just a copy so that the default application support stuff can be copied over if it doesn't already exist.

Got it! Sounds like something I should have known, but never did it before. Works beautifully. Thanks!
