Title: "Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet"
Post by: Align on July 16, 2009, 02:21:49 pm
They may not win any prizes for the name of the game, but it looks interesting, and just a little reminiscent of Aquaria:

The visual style and quality of animation is really superb. Black Metal is always a plus as well. My interest is only lessened by the title of the game.

Looks redacted...  ???

However, this one is probably about the same:

and looks quite ridiculously spiffy!

That trailer blows my mind.  I had been looking forward to this until seeing that, and then I about had to stab out my eyes for fear of the visuals making my brain melt.  I'm really eager to get my hands on it.

New trailer. I think I prefer the music in this one, but at any rate it gives a better idea of the gameplay and boy does it look cool.

Wow, the graphics are really nice. It's style is similar to World of Goo, and the water scenes are reminiscent of Aquaria.

When I saw the trailer my first thought was that it looks like a mixture of Aquaria and Limbo with a space ship^^

It looks interesting but I want to know more about "Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet" before thinking of buying it.

btw: I like the title  :)

Woa, from looking at the videos, this really does "feel" a lot like like Aquaria, even though the setting and graphics style is totally different (kinda World-of-Goo-ish)...

I found a YouTube video showing 10 minutes of gameplay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1f-ul5QV3S0
Maybe that helps... (PS: the boss fight at the end with the rotating multi-eye boss remind you of anything? ;))

Unfortunately, the website is really sparse on additional information though... I couldn't even find out which platforms they plan on releasing this for. Anybody have more info?

btw: I like the title  :)

Me too...  :)
