Title: how do you assign keys for tasks?
Post by: bobgroz on July 04, 2009, 05:10:41 pm
I keep hearing about assigning keys for tasks in this game to make things quicker. It's clumsy going through the mouse menus for everything. Could somebody tell me the secret on how to make keyboard assignments?
There is so little documentation for this game. I'd appreciate knowing the "trick" to assign keys to tasks.

thank you

bob

You don't.

But the songs are already assigned to keys.
The alpha-pad number keys 1 to 8 are assigned to the 8 different forms, 9 and 0 are for bind song and shield song.
X reverts back to song form, (the same as the number-1 key) WASD swims in 4 directions (but the mouse is more accurate) R automatically makes you roll through the water, for drawing stuff towards you, or shifting between dual form forms, the space bar propels you forward with more force, or jump from a wall.
Tab brings the map, exc the little menu where all the cooking takes place, and you find you pets and treasures.

Okay... you've posted A BUNCH of topics in here. Very unnecessary and quite annoying. Can't you put all of your complaining and help questions in one big thread?

Uh, SevenMass, doesn't "q" bring up the map? At least on my laptop it does...
