Okay, so I'm stuck here. (http://www.warsworldnews.com/xenesis/help.PNG)
I've figured out that I basically need to manipulate the water level to drag it around to where I want to go. Trouble is I have absolutely no idea how I'm supposed to get it out of that alcove in the first place - there's only one gear I can find to interact with and if I bind it and run down there and drain the water it's still in that exact spot when I get back. I've been stuck on this for like, 2 hours and it's driving me nuts.
Help?

In the room where you arrived there were a few Gears, some of them are spinning, some of them are not, try spinning the gears that are still.

While that advice was completely unhelpful, I figured it out anyhow (I'd already done that, the logistics were what was annoying me)

Well, I've looked at the screen-shot he linked to, and it is obvious that the OP already knew how to operate the gear, otherwise he wouldn't have gotten that far.
So his statement was factually correct.
There is no proof from his post that he was being a jerk.

I have to admit I was a bit grumpy when I replied, but I did say that I figured out how to use the gear. <_<;
When I was trying to figure out that, I flipped that gear at least three dozen times getting the water up and down.
Basically, I got up there and couldn't figure out for the life of me that there was a side passage after you re-lower the water where the Sun Stone falls into if you drag it to the left (The inability to zoom in on some of those internal maps is a pain, it makes it hard to see small passages).
Once I realised that passage was there, the rest was easy as pie. I didn't mean to sound like a jerk, I just tend to get...terse when people don't answer my specific question.
