I'm re-watching deathnote. Anyone else reconize the genius of this awesome show?
I also am kinda-sorta watching full metal alchemist....On episode 30-something. It's kinda gotten dull, however.
What do you watch?

I just watched (this last weekend) Daphne in the Brilliant Blue, a nice anime. It's an ecchi anime though, and I still don't understand why the main characters has to dress so... lightly in battle. I guess it's the genre itself, though it's not my favorite kind of anime.
I'm waiting for my next Anime DVD order to arrive, probably this week. It'll contains:

My strongest recommendation right now is Dennou Coil (http://anidb.net/a4345). I've also been watching Hayate no Gotoku (http://anidb.net/a4917), although there have been a lot of bad episodes. Over the summer I watched Sola (http://anidb.net/a5019), which I thought was good, but can't recommend without more knowledge of the watcher. I have been meaning to finish watching NHK ni Youkoso (http://anidb.net/a4121) and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (http://anidb.net/a3651) for about the past year. I've also got Code Geass (http://anidb.net/a4521), Nodame Cantabile (http://anidb.net/a4691), and Steamboy (http://anidb.net/a909) in the pipes but can't vouch for them since I haven't watched any. Posts with this many links in them and no transitions (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/transition) are Spam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-mail_spam).

Dont know any of them lol.
Death Note is awesomeness.. but it gets weaker at about.. 24? when 2 new characters are introduced. Stuff with L... way too boring.
Im watching .hack//roots and Nana right now.

Ya, death note is great, but it really gets weaker after 20...
Full metal alchemist is definetly great.
I'm wondering that nobody mentioned Hayao Miyazaki. Are there really anime fans who don't love his movies ?

Currently watching the ongoing series Kaiji. It's about a g*mbling loser. It's full of suspense and drama, though a bit stretched out. Also, naked men.
( Seems this forum filters out that word ??? )

Presumably taken as a given. I don't think there are cinema fans who don't like his movies.
I've never seen an anime series that hasn't got on my nerves after awhile (although Death and Rebirth of Evangelion remains one of the funniest things I've ever seen), but I've got a soft spot for Ninja Scroll. Both Ghost in the Shell movies are excellent (the sequel's possibly the stronger of the two, even); Perfect Blue is a remarkable achievement; Dead Leaves is bottomlessly stupid but incredibly fun to look at. I saw Sky Blue fairly recently and thought it was beautiful, but appallingly written (not just the dialogue; the plotting and pacing are disgraceful). I'm suitably ashamed of it, but I cannot resist watching Urotsukidoji when the opportunity presents itself; it's just so, so hilarious.

And Makoto Shinkai. Seriously, you need to watch 5 Centimeters Per Second. The animation and story are excellent. He needs to be nominated for a Oscar for Best Visual Effects or Best Lens Flares.
Note about Tekkon Kinktreet: Watch the anime before reading the manga. It will not disappoint you that way.

Where's that photo of those fratboys vomiting when you need it? :D
Lets see, I've recently been watching Dennou Coil, Gurren-Laggan, Demon Gun Girl Nanoha A's (Third season never existed. You're gonna get befriended), Potemayo, Sky Girls, Haruhi and Black Lagoon.
Nice boat.
