So all of you people who just got Dual Form and are thinking, "Now how can I scream more often? What can I do to make sure I always have a charged scream when moving into a new set of enemies?" Well here's a very easy way to do it. Switch into Nature form, charge it up, and create a briar. Do this 3 times, then switch to Dual Form, and nuke them in Li's form. If you kill all 3, it'll count towards your kill count, and charge you up so that you can scream.
Very easy way to make sure that when you're going to go into a sketchy area, that you can blow a scream to clear the area, then start nuking as mop up, rather then nuking to be able to scream.

I found that method particularly useful for destroying large enemies with less than three small targets in the area. I would definitely advise charging Naija's scream off briars in resting areas (few and far between) in the Gauntlet (the section of the Body prior to the final boss fight).

I hadn't thought of this.
Nice. 8)

Aquaria is one of the deepest games I've played - searching for tricks like those is a great way to pass an hour. :D
-
Sadly enough, this doesn't work in the FINAL battle, or it would be an easy one.
-
Yeah - there aren't any surfaces on which to throw the briars.

I like that Alec hadn't thought about this exploit yet it still isn't possible in the final battle, adds to the serendipity of this neat glitch
-
Alec could lie and state it was intended this way, no one would notice! :P
Don't take this commend the wrong way, but I would like to note that this has been discovered already, there are older posts/threads on the forum mentioning this.
Here is one from 2007:
I just found out that I can charge my dual-form by killing the plants you grow with nature-form. It's a good trick.

Okay, so.... how do you get dual form in the first place? I have Li, but no clue as to how to merge, as it were. Any advice, hints (broad or otherwise) gratefully accepted.

It's a plot reward, sort of thing. Keep progressing through the game and you'll get it eventually.
