No, but it looks beautiful. I'm sad to say I bought Odin Sphere months ago and still haven't gotten to play it. :'(

I havnt picked that one up, not enough hours in the day :(

I brought it, it was fun for a while but I got bored of it didn't think it was anything special......now Odin Sphere on the other hand was probably one of the greatest games I've ever played.

I don't know if Odin Sphere was one of the greatest games I've ever played...I think the actual gameplay got slightly stale after a while. The end, though, was magnificent, truly magnificent. And jeebus, was it aesthetically beautiful.
Being an English major, I actually was a little annoyed by the attempt at archaic speech... 'twas and 'twere appeared all the time, almost ad nauseum, but few other idiosyncrasies of older speech. It was a small annoyance though. Overall, I am very glad I bought it and I greatly enjoyed it.
As for Grim Grimoire...I'm fascinated, but my Wall of Shame (games I have bought but haven't yet played) is quite large, and I just can't justify any other purchases (excepting Aquaria).

The thing I love about Odin Sphere was it's battle system. The use of alchemy and timing into battle was done extremely well.

Is this the game where the kids are constantly shooting themselves in the head? I saw the review on XPlay...I laughed. Could be an okay game though.

Nope, that's Persona 3.
I've missed out on these and lots of other (supposedly) great later PS2 games because my console stopped working :(

You and me both. I don't have GG yet, either. Money sucks.
I feel Citrus's pain, too. My PS2 is slowly dying, and refuses to play blue disks or PS1 disks any longer. It won't be long before I have to break out the screwdriver and hope I can figure out how to properly realign the laser. I know there are guides out there, but... meh. Who has the time for tinkering these days? It's all I can do to keep up with my PC's hardware installations.

@ Ilithid: Oh god's my wall of shame is litterally a wall. I am a compulsive buyer and when I see a well reviewed game at a bargain price I just cant help myself. I have a stack of maybe 50 games I need to play, some of them going back a couple of years yet I still compulsively buying. Im still slogging through Rogue Galaxy but that didn't stop me buying GrimGrimoire when I saw it for $15 (Thats cheap in Aussie dollars). Nor did it stop be buying Aquaria for that matter ;)
Love the Morpheus pic, Gaiman is my hero :P

I had GG but couldn't bring myself to finish it, the story was great, though it reminded me of the movie groundhog day. But the game play, was horrible. 2d RTS may be possible but this one just didn't work.
