PSN game. Shock and awe. Seriously, if you have a PS3, go play it.

Welcome back, Quemaqua! :) You're right; Flower is simply one of the most beautiful and original 3D games I've seen.

I haven't been away! I just don't always have much to say lately. Been suffering from some medical issues and stuff... just haven't really been with it.
But yes, I've been spending a good deal of time with Flower and Noby Noby Boy. The latter is also great. Weird as hell, but oddly compelling. Well, okay, I've actually spent a good deal more time with Dawn of War II, but that doesn't fit so comfortably into the obscure downloadable console game theme.

It'd be awesome to work with them sometime. :)

I'm sorry to hear that quemaqua, I hope that things get better for you soon :-* but it is good to see that you are still around and that you are finding something to help you through it :-*

That would be a match made in heaven. (If the two monstrously creative geniuses didn't clash). :)

I'd hit it.
No, but really... not to imply that your only talent is somehow confined to creating underwater worlds, Alec, but can you imagine having something like Flower, but instead of a few petals and a gust of wind over the plains, you had a current and some small fish and crustaceans racing around a series of labyrinthine underwater paradises? Holy crap. Somebody make that game.
And thanks Silver, I'm alive. I'll just be very happy when I can stop spending so much time at the hospital and when they tell me I don't have anything scary like cancer. At this point nobody knows what the hell's wrong with me. Hopefully it's just something stupid they can't manage to pin down. But yes, I'm still around! I actually visit all the time, I just haven't had much to post about or respond to. But I always keep tabs on this place since Alec posts news about some of his other projects and good folks still hang out.

That would be the stuff of legend if done right. :) You know, you remind me of my theater teacher. In response to an amazing play concept, he said "Holy smokes. Make that play before somebody else does." :) An aquatic sequel to Flower would be a worthy successor, indeed.

On a tangent: there was a series of medical articles in the NY Times Magazine about strange, seemingly unconnected symptoms. The doctors would puzzle over the patient for days until the proverbial "Aha!" moment. (Each story had a happy ending, of course). ;) Let's hope you don't have a disease named after you. There's a joke along the same lines, but it would be tactless here. :)
[EDIT]: Feel free to disregard my rambling in the last paragraph. :)

If they do name a disease after me, I hope they tack "of doom" onto the end of it somewhere. Then it'll totally be worth it.
