Title: Song numpad mod?
Post by: Zeke on February 22, 2009, 10:06:36 pm
Does there exist a mod, or an easy way of creating one, that would map the Verse song notes to the corresponding numpad keys like this:

Do  Re  Mi  Fa  Sol  La  Ti(or more often, Te)  Do
2    3      6    9    8     7    4                                        1

It would be exceedingly useful for when my hotkey functionality quits, or for Simon says, or for singing real-world songs (I attempted Joy to the World with my gamepad, and it was recognizable but only marginally so).

I don't really know where to begin to do it myself, although I'll look through the modding guide here (http://www.bit-blot.com/aquaria/mods/modguide.html) later today.

Actually, I've been searching into this myself, even once was... fanatic enough to just add random things in the usersettings.xml file to maybe find some key that would sing a note, I didn't find anything. I can't find anything on that page and I can't find anything here (http://aquariawiki.ryanballantyne.name/wiki/index.php/Main_Page) either.

Only functions to check if Naija is singing.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I can't find anything, sort of a useless post I guess.
Maybe it's not possible, I think only Alec or maybe someone who was also beta testing might know this.

Not useless; it saves me the trouble of reading both those wikis and dinking around in the scripts in a similar manner.  Thanks for checking, anyhow.
