Title: Help!
Post by: lokifirebringer on February 14, 2009, 06:35:53 am
Okay, so this is really off topic.

Anyways, I am a programmer myself, specific to Erlang. Now, I have been trying to get ESDL (the Erlang port of SDL) to work for weeks now. I've posted on the sourceforge esdl page for help, but I'm not getting a reply. :'( Can anyone help me? By the way, I am running OSX.

I don't know if anyone here can help but there are 2 things that you can do,  one do a gogle search for 'ESDL problems or solutions' and/or post this request here in the suport section. :) I don't know a damn thing about it nore what it could be even but someone else that visits support more than here might :D

I never heard of that before, sorry to say, not to make prejudges, but I think only Alec might know what that is, or knows what to do with it in here. I mean, he made Aquaria, he must have SOME mastermind, right?

I'm just saying that this is not the ideal spot to seek for help, seeing there is possibly only one person who might know it. >_>

Sorry I misunderstood?

well, I've done the google search, and the sourceforge page that they have is no use. Pretty much any of the forums that I have posted on for help have not given me any advice, not even the ones that focus on Erlang. So I thought I might as well give this one a try  ;D

I'm sorry then, I hope you find help for this SOME where.

And Silver, I was saying that this is not the best spot to look for help, seeing there might only be one person who could help and I'm not sure if he knows Erlang.

I know and that's why I also said that it wasn't the best place to ask?
