;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Looks beautiful! May I please have some?
-
Absolutely beautiful pictures. :) If only we had more than three days of snow in Seattle ...
-
You can keep the snow, but please send more pretty pictures! ;)
-
Oooh, it's the light and fluffy variety, very nice :)
Although I fear that living in Winnipeg has destroyed any ability I had to be amazed by snow. We've been various degrees of covered since mid-November and it ain't going anywhere until mid-March at the earliest.
-
It's only freezing here, no snow. It only snowed like... 10 minutes yesterday, no more, sucky Netherlands.
-
It hasn't even gotten to freezing here this winter. We went north to the mountains right after Christmas and they were using fake snow on the ski lift. Pff. Not a huge fan of living with snow, but I wouldn't mind being able to visit it every now and then. :/
-
Finally it started snowing here, with a running start I could slide forward about 4 meters, using only my feet, was awesome, I think it'll be gone tomorrow.
-
Thanks I like taking photos, I just wish that my camera took better macros because that is my favourite style of photography :D
This is the first time that we have had more than a sprinkling of snow for 20 years and it's come as a big shock to anyone in that age group, and the kids have loved it :D I must admit that this is my favourite type of snow Chrissy, it makes great snowmen and snowballs ;D Trouble is that most of it is ice now :(
-
snow is a rare commodity here too but we get a little each year. had a few days in Dec and 1 day in Jan, that should be it as the trees are starting to sprout pink blossoms :) I sort of miss a nice solid winter. sort of.

I can understand that, but still it is lovely to look at 'and' it does get rid of some unwanted pests like mosquitos and hopefully the little bugs that are killing our honey bees :(

My favorites are "Accidental Prism" and "Puppy Dog Tails." BTW, your picture perfectly fit how I imagined you. :) Please take that as a compliment. :)

Thank you chibi, I forgot that I had a photo of myself there lol I don't go there often enough it seems lol

I'm in Florida. It is never cold, and it never snows.
Today it was 30 degrees, so that was really refreshing. It's funny to see all of the pathetic Floridians bundling up because of 30 degree weather. I just slapped on a hoodie. For a Floridian, the cold doesn't bother me as much as it should.

Some folks in the UK walk around in clothes better suited to a mild climate also, so I suppose it does depend on how hot blooed you are lol My feet are frozen right now, we had more snow today and temperatures have dropped so the paths will be really icy in the morning... lovely! :(

Be careful! That's dangerous :c

I know lol, but if my friend isn't going to art class I will be staying at home for a change, and hopefully my Bladerunner video bought from Ebay will arrive. I haven't seen it for years so a glas or two of wine and the film and I will be more than happy :D
I daren't tell my son though, because he is going to set it up so I can watch it on blueray, but I don't mind watching it twice :D
-
I went to watercolour art class and took these last three photos on the way home, please excuse the piece of car dashboard showing in one :( I'm not going to make an habit of posting photos but I thought that you might like to this sky :)

Ooo, nice! I especially like the second one. ;D
-
The first one looks like an actual paining, and which moron placed the street light the other way?

It's at a road junction Alpha but I see what you mean rotfl! :D And that one is my favourite though I also like the last that shows more of the cloud formation.

I got my yearly quota of snow (not nearly enough) a couple weeks ago, but I've just now gotten around to stitching together one of the panoramas from the trip:

Banff?
-
Cool pic. :) Where do you live?
-
Nope, it's not Banff, though that does look like a nice area! This was at Stowe, Vermont. We also went to Jay, which is totally awesome if you're into skiing the woods, and it's really close to Canada. I live in Virginia, but my aunt lives up in Vermont, so we go up there each year. :D
-
That is beautiful particlese :D My son went to Egypt a couple of years ago and he's beein working on stitching some photos of a temple together, perhaps I might post that here sometime if he lets me? what a contrast that would be lol
-
Heh, yeah, that would be quite a contrast, and I'd love to see it. You might even say it's on-topic since people ski on sand!
If your son doesn't already have stitching software (or even if he does), he may be interested in Hugin (http://hugin.sourceforge.net/). It works disturbingly well, and it's completely free.
